The Chicana/Latina Research Center (CLRC) has officially closed its doors. For those who are interested in the trajectory of this center, we will maintain the website. We have donated the archives of the center to Shields Library Special Collections. We thank all of those who supported the CLRC throughout its history.

The CLRC has funding as a research cluster from the Davis Humanities Institute, and support from the Consortium for Women and Research as a Research Interest Group. The CLRC has Working Group status supported by a grant from the UCHRI, UC Humanities Research Institute at UC Irvine, for the project, "Testimonios as Critical Tools in Theorizing Chicana/Latina and Indigenous Women's Studies". The CLRC is also a member center of the National Council for Research on Women.

The Co-Directors of the Chicana/Latina Research Center are Ines Hernandez-Avila, Professor and Chair of Native American Studies, and Lorena Oropeza, Associate Professor of History.
